Intended Audience
This educational activity is designed to meet the educational needs of U.S. hematologists, medical oncologists, and other health-care professionals (physicians, physicians-in-training, oncology nurses, pharmacists, physician assistants, etc) who are involved and/or interested in the treatment of patients with multiple myeloma, lymphoma, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, acute myeloid leukemia, myelodysplastic syndromes, and myeloproliferative neoplasms.
Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of these educational activities, participants should be able to:
- Identify and apply clinical and molecular prognostic and predictive factors for patients with hematologic malignancies
- Interpret clinical trial and real-world data for standard of care and novel management strategies to optimize treatment of patients with blood cancers
- Implement new agents appropriately into therapeutic regimens for patients with hematologic malignancies based on data on efficacy, safety, cost and quality of life
